Grazingland Horizons

Last updated: January 2026

These terms apply to this website and to every visit booked on a ranch tour, pasture walk, or herd viewing day. By booking a place you accept these terms on behalf of everyone in your party, including children, guests, and anyone else joining you on the farm.

Muscular Oxen Herd

Pasture descriptions, photographs of our bulls and oxen, meadow views, and difficulty grading for each grazing route belong to us; please do not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without asking first. We work hard to keep every page accurate, but weather, mud and herd movement change faster than any website can keep up with, so always check with us before a visit.

Ranch Fence Lines

A place on the farm tour is confirmed only once we write back to say so directly, not simply when you submit the form. Payment terms, deposits and cancellation policies for ranch visits involving our muscular bulls and gentle oxen are all set out clearly on the booking page.

Livestock Trough

A qualified herder leads the way, following the pasture route as described, with shared farm equipment and the nights listed at the ranch bunkhouse included. Personal clothing, travel to the meeting point, and insurance are yours to arrange. Guests should also bring sturdy boots suited to the grazingland and uneven ground around the herd.

Muscular Herd Grazing

Weather, muddy ground, or the condition of the grazingland can force a herder to shorten or reroute a day's walk among the cattle. Rain can turn a dry pasture into standing water within hours, and a herder watching for tired hooves or a restless herd will always choose the safer path. That decision rests with the herder, not the visitor.

Livestock

Working around livestock on open grazingland carries risk no farm can fully remove. We are responsible for running each visit with reasonable care and skill, keeping guests clear of the herd and briefing everyone on safe handling. We are not responsible for loss or injury caused by weather, wild animals, or conditions beyond our control on the ranch.
